Cruise to Nowhere Departure and Sail Away

After a great dinner at Jamie’s it was time to depart Singapore.

When departing a port it is only right to have a bottle of bubbles. So we grabbed a bottle of Veuve from Vintages and a couple of glasses and headed up to deck 15, the running track.

What was sad or interesting, probably sad, was that we were the only ones on the upper deck with a drink watching the departure.

Cruise to Nowhere, Quantum of the Seas, Royal Caribbean, Sail Away Singapore

I was hoping that we would head up the Singapore East Coast past my place, and we did.

Singapore definitely has a picturesque skyline.

A few random shots

After the bottle was finished I wandered the upper deck for a while. There are definitely a lot of options for Sea Days, just not enough of what I would like to do.

There are some interesting pieces of art around the ship. A few of the pieces near my cabin.

Next up day one at sea…..

GOOD TO SEE YOU ARE DRINKING THE “RIGHT” BUBBLES.

    Thanks for sharing!

Could you collect the paper Cruise Compass and share it with us?
So sorry for the trouble but thanks so much!

Hi, wish I could share the paper Cruise Compass, I did not see one. Even the live map on the TV only indicated we were in the Straits, not our track. We were sailing in the area off of Pahang and Terengganu I think, at about 8 to 10 knots for the whole cruise. No land in sight…
