Colombo Sunset Tuk Tuk Safari

I recently had a weekend in Colombo and so decided that I should check the place out. One of the easiest ways to get around the place is by Tuk Tuk so what better way to explore than in a convertible Tuk Tuk, and that is where Tuk Tuk Safaris come in, they get great reviews online and the timing and price was right so I chose their Colombo Sunset Tuk Tuk Safari.

When I was recently in Bangkok I was looking for a new restaurant to try that was walking distance from my hotel and Zanotti Il Restaurante Bangkok was the place I chose. Chef Gianmaria Zanotti established the restaurant in 1998 and I now know why everyone who I spoke to before and after rave about the place. Great food, awesome friendly service and decent wine list. My sort of place.

When Bangkok what should one eat? Thai food of course, so I decided to try one of the top restaurants in town, Nahm Bangkok. Nahm is another Bangkok restaurant that is on the The Worlds 50 Best Restaurants list at number 28 globally and the number 10 restaurant in Asia. Nahm also received a Michelin Star in the inaugural Bangkok guide in 2017.

On a recent trip to Bangkok I dined at Hamilton’s Steak House in the Dusit Thani Bangkok. Hamilton’s has copied the decor and feel of an American style Steak House.
